I love them because I can still enjoy delicious pasta sauces and not have the guilty feeling after! This Tomato Meat Sauce is seriously my favorite Meat Sauce! Not saying that regular noodles are terrible for you! They aren't! I love noodles, regular and whole wheat, and in moderation, they are okay to eat! This is just another great option for noodles that you may have never tried before!

Zoodle Spaghetti with Tomato Meat Sauce
For the Zoodles
3-4 medium sized zucchinis
KitchenAid Spiralizer Attachment with Peel, Core and Slice Wash and prepare zucchini by removing the ends. Slice each zucchini in half. Place the noodle attachment onto the spiralizer. Hook half of the zucchini into the attachment and line up the core. Turn the kitchenaid on, and watch the attachment do all of the work!
Before serving, place zoodles in a skillet with a 1/2 cup of water and turn it to medium high heat. Place a lid over the skillet and allow the water to come to a boil, steaming the noodles. Steam for 4-5 minutes. Serve.
Tomato Meat Sauce
1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cans crushed tomatoes
8-ounce can tomato sauce
2 teaspoons brown sugar
Brown meat, and break into small pieces as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.
Stir in the tomato paste, basil, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper.
Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, for about a minute, until the mixture smells fragrant.
Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, and brown sugar. Stir to combine.
Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 5-10 minutes
Serve over noodles.
